OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
FIRST OFFENDER TREATMENT AS "CONVICTION". --First offender treatment upon a verdict or plea of guilty is a "conviction" within the meaning of the Drug-free Postsecondary Education Act (O.C.G.A. § 20-1-20 et seq.), applicable to students in institutions of higher learning. 1992 Op.
